Feeling needy is one of the most uncomfortable states to be in, and can leave us feeling powerless and ashamed. Equally, other people’s neediness can be extremely off-putting when we feel someone is trying to take something from us that we are not willing or able to give. And yet, in the process of dealing with our own or other’s neediness, we can often end up swinging to the other extreme where we deny our needs in an attempt to be self-sufficient and independent.

How can we navigate this subtle path towards a healthy, balanced, whole place inside? What is a spiritually and emotionally mature way of approaching our own and other people’s needs?

In this workshop we will discuss all these things and apply some of the tools offered in the practice of Raja Yoga and Non-Violent Communication to find a way forward.
