Real life relationships do require a certain amount of ‘work’, in the form of time, listening, helping, or just ‘being there’.  But the feeling of being overburdened can be a sign that something is out of balance.  Whether you need to give more to yourself, release your need to be needed or ask for help yourself, making such changes can return relationships to the fulfilling exchange they are meant to be.
